D rake Architecture was established in 2009 by Richard Drake, AIA, NCARB Owner/Principal. Richards early experience was molded by a large national retail architecture and branding company headquartered in Dayton, Ohio. This experience landed him the opportunity to work in large markets across the country and coast to coast. The fast-paced environment that retail offered allows Drake Architecture to react precisely and timely to clients needs and timelines effectively improving on their ROI by getting their projects designed, permitted and constructed quicker and within budget.

Richard Drake is an NCARB licensed architect. He received his initial license in the state of Ohio in September of 2009. Richard graduated from The Ohio State University with his Bachelor's degree in Architecture in 1998. He spent 2 years working as an intern before returning to the University of Michigan to receive his Masters of Architecture in the Spring of 2002.


Services:

Site survey - to determine the size of the space and locate and describe all existing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services at the space. Will create and provide cad files utilizing the latest versions of CAD software.

Design – DA will create space planning based on the owner’s specified needs while adhering to all local state and federal codes and regulations.

Construction Documents – Drake Architecture will create all necessary architectural documentation necessary to obtain permits for your project. This includes permit apps, zoning approvals, and in-person hearings if necessary. Drake Architecture is NCARB registered and has the ability for reciprocity in all 50 states. Currently, DA holds licenses in Ohio, Georgia, and Tennessee.

Consultants – Drake Architecture has associates that are registered or capable of becoming registered in all 50 states for Mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural engineering.
